Will is a Michigan-born artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. He was interviewed in his Brooklyn studio on June 13, 2014. In this in-depth interview, Will talks about how he emerged as an artist, his technique and how he approaches sculpting, where and how he selects his models.

Artist Will Kurtz talks about his current work and his history of how he became the artist that he is today. Will was a fellow at the New York Academy of Art in 2009 and has a solo show coming up at Mike Weiss Gallery on January 12th 2011.

This installment from Will Kurtz at the Mike Weiss Gallery was wonderfully amusing. The Opening Night was a busy affair, with the room jammed packed with Art Tourists. Never-the-less, Kurtz's figures are powerful and have a mesmerizing presence in this vibrant installation.
